The Healthy Buildings Conference and Expo to be held in London on the 15th Feb, will explore the extent to which careful product selection can have a positive influence on occupant health.
Mark Lynn, our own Managing Director will be joining a number of expert speakers throughout the conference, where they will address urgent occupant health issues such as overheating, moisture and mould, and indoor air quality. They will also explore how building products can exacerbate the problem or provide a solution.
A Board Member of the Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP) Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of natural building materials and is one of the UK’s leading experts on sustainable insulation.
So join him during Session 3 at 2pm – Problem Solving with Healthy Products, which will be chaired by Tom Woolley of Rachel Bevan Architects, Mark will specifically be speaking about Formaldehyde absorption in buildings and the health issues caused.
Joining Mark on the panel will be Andrew Mitchell, from Natural Building Technologies speaking on Moisture control in buildings and Niall Crosson, Ecological Building Systems, speaking on Airtightness and Indoor Air Quality
“The ASBP is showing real leadership in helping to tackle some of the less understood challenges we face in the built environment. Their conference and expo is a great step forward and we look forward to participating with anticipation” says Mark.
The Healthy Buildings Conference is particularly aimed at architects, designers and product specifiers, but is highly relevant to building clients, policy makers and product suppliers. The event should also appeal to anyone with an interest in the relationship between buildings and human health.
